How to use a Shopping/Discount Voucher online

Claiming an online shopping/discount voucher is as easy as clicking on a mouse. Most e-commerce companies have been offering incredible discounts on products and it’s important to know how to redeem the vouchers to ensure you take advantage of the deals.

We will take a step-by-step look at the process using a voucher code on Jumia, we are also offering a ksh. 500 discount on all items purchased from their valentine shop using code Jumialove.

In this case, we will use Code JUMIAKBUZZ worth ksh. 500 on what you need to do to redeem your coupon online.

Step 1: Add the product(s) you want to buy to your online shopping cart

This is an easy step; Click on “Buy Now” for all the items you want to buy, they will automatically be added to cart on the top right hand side of the Jumia window.

Step 2: Confirm everything you require is in the right quantity and price

To do this you click on the button “View Cart” a full page with all the items and total cost will appear, confirm the colour, size and quantity. Once you are sure everything is in order it time to add the shopping voucher or discount coupon code.

Step 3: Adding the Voucher Code

Now double check everything you intend to buy is in order then look for a small text box “Coupon” below the list of products at the centre page. Notice the text box has the words “Type your Voucher Code here”

Now type the code as it was given to you

Check that you have typed the code correctly then click “USE” beside it

A green bar will appear at the top of your Jumia window as “Cart updated” and the total amount should reflect minus the discount given (Notice Ksh 500 deducted from my purchase.

Step 4: Removing the Voucher code

At this point if you change your mind and want to add or remove a product to the cart, you will only need to click on the “Unselect Coupon”

Confirm again everything is okay, the voucher code, the total amount then click on “Proceed to check out” and wait for a call from Jumia customer service agent to confirm your order. That’s how easy it is to redeem a shopping voucher online.
