Great pen. Excellent value.

The pen exceeded my expectations in terms of quality. For the price, you get a pen with a metal cap and barrel, gold plated steel nib and a high quality converter. It comes with a medium nib which is mostly smooth with a little feedback and this is very tolerable. I didn't feel the need to work on the nib. The pen is heavier than most fountain pens that I have used but the weight is not an issue if you use it unposted. It posts well and when posted, the pen feels balanced despite the weight. I would recommend this pen to people looking for a good looking functional fountain pen. The only issue with it so far is that it doesn't start as quickly as I would prefer it to but I suspect that this might be less of a problem if it was being used as a regular writer. There's no skipping whatsoever after the pen starts to write and I should also add that starting is only a problem after it has been capped forr a day or two which some might consider normal.
