Nairobi, Kenya 31st August 2015 Jumia’s back-to-school sale kicks off today 31st August to 13th September to help thousands of students get the supplies and items they need for the last term/semester .

The 14-day sale features an incredibly discounted assortment of products for both Primary, Secondary and university students that includes mobile phones, laptops, Fashion, electronics, stationery, books, small appliances and many more with the Lenovo and Innjoo shops on Jumia offering insane discounts.

According to Parinaz Firozi, MD Jumia Kenya, this season’s back to school sale has been segmented into two Back-to-school and Back-to-campus to provide easy access to products for the different ages and interests.

“Kenya is a hotbed of intelligent students and going back to school doesn’t have to be expensive that’s why we have negotiated directly with the brands to offer unbeatable prices to the hardworking students across the country. We also want to wish them a successful last kick of 2015.”

This year, Jumia expanded Pay on delivery to 26 more towns and 15 universities. Initially, the service was available to customers residing within 15KM of Nairobi, Mombasa and Nakuru central business districts. The expansion ensures customers in the locations can shop online, have the items delivered to their office or home and only pay if they like the items.

The strategic expansion also features a partnership with Posta, Aramex, G4S to provide offline pick-up points from which customers can pay for items ordered online upon pick-up.
