A typical day in town may be: you wake up and it’s a very dull day. Naturally, you dress accordingly, layer your sweaters, scarves and all cold weather essentials, only for you to get to school or work and the sun decides to come out and, well, few words can describe the sweltering heat. This means you’re in an area which is simply transitioning between seasons. Dressing for this weather need not be a challenge. There are two tricks we have up our sleeves to looking good and being warm enough. These are layering and wearing bright colours as we are happy to explain.

1.Transitioning between seasons-Layering

Layering is simply wearing clothes on top of each other such that you can remove any whenever it gets too hot, and add them back on if it gets  cold. Common pieces used for this are tights, scarves and coats. You could also wear boots with a short dress, and carry an extra pair of flats if you like. Here are a few outfit suggestions:

2.Transitioning between seasons-Bright colours

You may have noticed that you tend to wear dull colors during the cold season. Wearing bright colours has been proven to significantly uplift your mood and seriously uplift your look too. This also applies to funky looking jewellery.
