Works well. Heats up in about 5 minutes when filled up to the max recommended level, isn't too noisy, and has a reliable auto-shutoff feature. Other than the lack of insulation, which is an inevitable compromise at this price point, you can't go wrong with this kettle.

It's OK, just a little smaller than expected.

Bought this to replace a 2 litre model that had burnt out, picked 1.7 litres since it was the nearest/quickest I could get. Not an issue for me, but if you're replacing a larger kettle go for 3L and above.
