These claw clips are awesome. They open very wide, and the spring is on the strong side so they grab on to the hair really well. They have teeth on the inside which help them stay put for long period of time. Clips I've used before get loose and have to be re-clipped several times, but these stay until you take them out. They truly are large and will hold long, thick hair.The color looks sprayed on, so I'm guessing over time it will scratch off, but it's still a great buy. I already bought a second set and will probably get a colored set, too. Highly recommended.
