Carbon/Mineral multi-stage replacement cartridge. Replace every 6 months.The Multi-Stage Filter Cartridge is responsible for reducing fluoride by up to 90%, plus many contaminants, toxins and heavy metals such as lead, arsenic and cadmium; chlorine and chloroforms; MTBE's; THMs; odours etc., which are found in many of our water supplies. They have been linked to cancer and other illnesses and diseases.

Activated carbon increases the surface area of the carbon for greater adsorption of contaminants - including TCM's, PCB's and pesticides. The Mineral Sand ring adds a small amount of balanced natural minerals to the water as well as making the water somewhat more alkaline. Mineral Sand has been used in water filtration systems for many years to put finishing touches on clean water.

Far infrared minerals are known to promote growth and health of living cells. It ionizes and helps activate water molecules in human cells and blood. Far infrared is also known to increase the processing enzyme activity in our digestive tract, as well as boot metabolism.

This special Zeolite filtration layer is excellent in filtering out heavy metals as well as odors in the water.

 

Fluoride Reduction Layer Designed for the effective filtration and reduction of Fluoride by up to 90%.  This is dependent on the pH of your source water – the more alkaline the water going into the zazen system, the less effective the fluoride filtration.  Most tap waters however are acidic.  You can test your water using our Water pH Test Kit.
