It doesn't seem like cotton & seemed stitched in a hurry coz threads not cut plus the bag it came in lost one side of the handle. It undid. Otherwise not bad. It's pretty. Wish it was a duvet & not a comforter for easy washing & changing plus it had an extra sheet
