Design

The design of the Oppo Reno 7 5G looks stunning most, especially the back panel as it shimmers and changes colors depending on the angle of the lighting. On its upper left is a camera setup that features an RGB ring light around the camera (notifications, charging progress). The back also has this frosted glass texture which is very effective in repelling fingerprints and smudges. The Reno 7 4G comes in Cosmic Black, and Sunset Orange. If you. Situated on the upper left side of the display is the selfie camera. And right in the upper bezel is the earpiece it’s gut-thin bezels all around and a thick chin. This phone has a triple sim card tray for two nano-sized SIM cards and a dedicated micro SD card slot. The power button and volume rocker are on opposite sides. At the bottom is a USB type C 3.5-millimeter audio Jack, main microphone, and speaker grills. It is also important to note that the Reno 7 4G is an IPX4 water-resistant smartphone.

Now flipping to its front, Oppo Reno 7 4G has a 6.43 inches flat screen with slim bezels and a quite sizable chin. Located on the left is the volume rocker. On the right, is the power slash lock button. Generally, the buttons are tactile and easy to reach. Alone at the top is the secondary microphone. While at the bottom are the dual SIM card tray, main microphone, USBC port, and loudspeaker. Unfortunately, there’s no micro SD card slot for this device. Taking a closer look at the screen is a 6.43 inches AMOLED display with Full HD Plus resolution and 90 Hertz refresh rate support. The display is bright enough to use indoors and outdoors with a crisp screen. The colors are vibrant and offer good viewing angles.

The panel also has a punch hole cut out for the selfie camera on the top left side of the screen. The display is highly customizable from night mode and screen color mode to dark mode settings that let you set how dark you want to go. You also get an always-on display with edge lighting to let you know when notifications arrive. When it comes to biometrics and security, you can unlock this device via facial recognition and the in-display fingerprint scanner. Cameras

Now to the cameras. Oppo Reno 7 4G has a triple-lens setup, which consists of a 64 MP, f/1.7, 26mm (wide), 2 MP, f/3.3, (microscope), and a 2 MP, f/2.4, (depth). Flipping to the front is its 32-megapixel sensor. The main sensor can produce a well-balanced exposure, which sometimes is hard to achieve in other devices on this tier. Since there is no telephoto lens, you will have to rely mostly on the main camera for digitally zooming in on a subject. Background and subject separations can be amazing when you know how to produce these. The Reno 7 4G can record a maximum resolution of 1080p@30fps which goes down as a major downside of this phone. The video quality is okay, nonetheless, as it has vibrant colors and fine details.
