Walter Andal is the author of "Finance 101 for Kids: Money Lessons Children Cannot Afford to Miss" and its sequel "Finance 102 for Kids: Practical Money Lessons Children Cannot Afford to Miss." He has an MBA in International Finance from the University of La Verne and a bachelor's degree in Management Economics from Ateneo de Manila University.

Walter was motivated to write his first book in 2013 after realizing that his own children had a limited understanding of how money works beyond basic spending. He noted the absence of personal finance education in elementary and most secondary schools, which inspired him to create engaging and practical books to teach children real-life finance concepts.

His books cover topics such as earning, saving, investing, credit, the stock market, and economic forces, aiming to equip kids with smart money management skills. Though initially self-published, his books have been translated into multiple languages and are available internationally.
