1. Connect your VGA cable to your Computer VGA port.
2. Connect the other end of your VGA cable to the VGA port of the Adapter.
3. Next, connect your HDMI cable to the HDMI part of the Adapter.
4. Finally connect the other HDMI end to your screen. That’s it. Remember to connect the power cable that comes with the adapter.
5. In some cases you may need to restart your PC. In most cases you do not need to.

I have personally tested all the adapters on a PC and laptop and they work perfectly.  Before buying a better Graphics card, I used this adapter to play games on my larger screen which didn’t have a VGA port.

To use sound with the device you will need to connect a cable from your computer device to the adapter. VGA signal does not transfer audio, so you will need to connect a 3.5 cable from you computer to the adapter if you want to transfer sound as well.  This is however, not a big deal because you may still use your computer device for audio as you normally do
