The control unit automatically extends and retracts the steps when the RV door is opened and closed. Automatically stops the steps if it strikes an obstacle.
The ignition override feature is a safety feature that will retract your steps if it senses the ignition of the RV. This way, if you forget to stow your steps, they automatically retract to prevent damage while traveling.
This control unit is designed to be replaced on the "IMGL" step units that were manufactured from 2006 to the present.
To be used with magnetic door switches.
