Bigo 400SC is a systemic fungicide designed to control a variety of fungal diseases in crops. It is particularly effective in protecting crops from diseases like late blight, downy mildew, and botrytis. Bigo 400SC is known for its preventive and curative action, making it a valuable tool for farmers and gardeners.
Bigo 400SC contains two active ingredients:
Dimethomorph: 200 g/L
Fluazinam: 200 g/L
These active ingredients work together to provide broad-spectrum disease control and ensure long-lasting protection. Dimethomorph inhibits the growth and development of fungal cells, while Fluazinam prevents the formation of infective structures.
Broad-Spectrum Disease Control: Bigo 400SC effectively controls a wide range of fungal diseases, including late blight, downy mildew, and botrytis. This reduces the risk of crop damage and yield loss.
Preventive and Curative Action: The fungicide offers both preventive and curative properties, protecting crops from new infections and treating existing ones. This dual action helps ensure continuous crop protection.
Systemic Activity: Bigo 400SC is absorbed by the plant and translocated to all parts, providing comprehensive protection. This systemic activity ensures that the fungicide reaches even the most hidden parts of the plant.
Crop Safety: The fungicide is safe for use on a variety of crops, including potatoes, tomatoes, and roses. It is selective towards target pathogens and does not harm beneficial organisms.
Bigo 400SC is suitable for use on the following crops:
Potatoes: Controls late blight (Phytophthora infestans).
Tomatoes: Controls late blight (Phytophthora infestans).
Roses: Controls downy mildew and botrytis.
Mode of action: BIGO® 400SC contains dimethomorph and fluazinam
which prevent growth and development of fungal cells and infective
structures.
Directions for use: Mix with water at the recommended rates and foliar
apply on potatoes, tomatoes and roses before disease appears.
Pre-harvest interval: 7 days on potatoes and tomatoes.
Re-entry interval: On drying of spray for roses.
Application Rate: Mix Bigo 400SC with water at the recommended rates and apply as a foliar spray. For potatoes and tomatoes, use 300 ml per 20 liters of water. For roses, use 15 ml per 20 liters of water.
Spray Intervals: Apply Bigo 400SC at intervals of 7-10 days, depending on disease pressure. During high disease pressure, use a shorter interval of 7 days, while under low disease pressure, extend the interval to 10 days.
Pre-Harvest Interval: For potatoes and tomatoes, the pre-harvest interval is 7 days.
Re-Entry Interval: For roses, the re-entry interval is on drying of the spray.
While Bigo 400SC is generally safe for most crops, it is important to follow the recommended dosage and application guidelines to avoid potential phytotoxicity. Always perform a small test application on a few plants before full-scale use to ensure compatibility with your specific crop and growing conditions. Avoid applying during extreme temperatures or high sunlight intensity to prevent leaf burn.
Bigo 400SC is a reliable and effective fungicide for controlling a variety of fungal diseases in crops. Its broad-spectrum control, preventive and curative action, and systemic activity make it a valuable tool for farmers and gardeners.
