PRODUCT STORIES
Eye of Horus, Sacred Protection - The Eye of Horus was one of the most powerful amulets in ancient Egypt, symbolising protection and divine power.
In African culture, the eye totem represents insight and vision, helping the wearer to avoid bad luck and embrace opportunity.
More than just a piece of jewellery, this ring is a legacy of African spirituality for the man who seeks strength and wis-dom.
BRAND STORY
Between the sunsets of the Sahara and the snows of Kilimanjaro, the continent of Africa has always throbbed with an untamed heart of fashion - and ARHANORY was born here.
In 2019, while travelling through the highlands of Kenya, founder AFK stumbled into a bar mitzvah for Maasai maidens. The cascading coloured beads around their necks shone in the firelight, the brass bracelets on their wrists tinkled with the dance, and ancient totems collided with modern vitality at this moment. At that moment, a thought was born: to dedicate the wild beauty of the African earth to all souls who are not willing to be mediocre.
The name ARHANORY comes from the combination of the Swahili words ‘Amani’ (peace) and “Dhahabu” (gold), which means ‘to transmit peace and splendour through jewellery’. Amani‘ (peace) and ’Dhahabu" (gold). We went deep into the tribes of Africa, collaborating with brass smiths in Ghana, glaziers in Ethiopia, and ostrich egg carvers in South Africa to deconstruct millennia-old craftsmanship into the language of contemporary design. Each piece is a dialogue between African stories and European and American minimalist trends.
