This is a one component RTV( room temperatures vulcanizing) silicone hence no mixing is required one just simply applies from the tube and it cures to form resilient rubber like gasket
Its resistant to continuous temperatures up to 300degess or higher hence it can handle engine bays and exhaust adjacent applications
The cured sealant resists cracking, shrinking or migrating even under thermal cycling, vibration or mechanical loads
Designed for use with components exposed to engine oil, coolant, transmission fluid eliminating worry of sealant failure in contact with common automotive fluids

The Asmaco RTV High Temp Gasket Maker is ideal for a wide variety of applications where high heat, vibration or fluid exposure is present uses include;

Its used in engine covers and flanges in timing chain covers, oil pans, valve covers, sump covers where conventional gasket may fail due to heat or mismatched surfaces
Used in exhaust system junctions and manifolds where high temperatures occur and a formed in place gasket is advantageous
The gasket is used in parts subjected to oil, gear lube, mechanical stress and heat such as gearbox, differential covers and mechanical housings
Used for sealing housings where fluids circulate and flange surfaces may distort or vibrate eg pumps, i.e. water pumps and oil pumps
Used in repair and maintenance operations especially valuable when an OEM gasket is unavailable or when customizing flanges and surfaces need a bespoke gasket seal
