This cable is fitted with a C13 (Female) on one end and a C14 (Male) on the other. It is the standard output power cable used on Uninterruptable Power Supplies (UPS) and in this case would replace the standard UK mains cable of the device they are powering rather than extend it.They can be used within rack cabinets when connecting servers to the UPS device. Most electrical appliances are supplied with a 2m mains cable and therefore these are a suitable replacement. The flexible moulded collar at the end of the connector protects the internal wires from any stresses or strains than might be applied to the cable whilst in use.The cable is extensively used in the IT industry. Can be used with a UPS, desktop PC, monitors, servers or extending the length of a current power cable.
