The FLY 3 is an innovative, cutting edge 3 watt mini amp which combines two channels, tape delay and the Blackstar patented Infinite Shape Feature (ISF) to create the perfect compact and portable guitar amplifier. It's advantageously small and packs a punch with big TONE, even at the lowest volumes.

The ISF allows you to infinitely change the sound of your FLY 3, which gives you endless possibilities on the tone of your amp. The FLY 3 also features tape delay effects, allowing you to make your amp output resonate during play.

The FLY 3 also comes with an MP3 / LINE IN jack built in, allowing you to connect to your MP3 player, mobile phone, laptop, tablet etc. and jam along to your favourite tracks; the Emulated Output jack can also be used with headphones. Capable of being battery powered, you can take the FLY 3 with you wherever you go as a set of portable speakers.

Huge Tone, Small Size

Rather than just being focused on its look and compact size and ultimately sacrificing the quality of sound, the FLY 3’s unique design delivers the same tonal balance and feel of a larger guitar amp even at low volumes.

Sonic Performance

The use of a full range driver eliminates the need of a subwoofer. This has the benefit of removing the requirement for a crossover and the negative sonic impact that can have. The key part of a guitar’s tone occurs in the frequencies that are normally affected by a crossover and for music playback the performance is similar to nearfield monitors.

Attention to Detail

Countless hours were spent on the design of the cabinet to achieve a sonic performance not normally found in a mini amp. The housing is sealed and tuned to ensure optimum tonal response and the material used has been mathematically modelled to have the Young’s Modulus of wood. This retains the bass response usually associated with a wooden cabinet.

The FLY 3 is battery powered and has a competition beating battery life (when set at around half volume) meaning you can listen to your tunes or play your guitar for hours.

Patented ISF

FLY 3 comes equipped with our patented ISF EQ, allowing you to effortlessly dial in incredible sounds. Fully counter clockwise has an American characteristic with a tight bottom end and aggressive middle. Fully clockwise has a British characteristic which is more ‘woody’ and less aggressive.

Emulated Line Out

FLY 3 also features Emulated Line Out, perfect for ‘silent’ practice or home recordings, keep your Blackstar tone no matter the volume.

In-built ‘Tape’ Delay

The FLY 3 comes features an in-built ‘tape’ delay effect with time and level controls. Dial in ambience from characterful slapback to epic-sounding long repeats.

Organic Cleans & Overdrives

The overdrive channels on the FLY 3 have been meticulously designed to clean up with your guitar volume, just like your main amp would. This allows for endless tonal textures and an addictive playing experience.
