Good enough, considering the price.

The watch is good enough, given the relatively low price. Pros: 1. Looks: The watch is just as beautiful in person as it is on its photos. 2. Heft: Given the metallic case, case-back, strap, and clasp, the watch feels nicely weighted. 3. Quality of life additions: Included in the box is a strap length adjuster, an extra battery, as well as a small cloth that can be used to wipe the watch. That's a nice touch. Cons: 1. Manufacturing defect in both the minute and second hand: Even when the crown in engaged (i.e. not pulled out to set the time), the minute hand moves back and forth by gravity when you move your hand (about half the distance between two adjacent markers), and ditto for the second hand (but this time, by the full distance between two adjacent markers). And when the crown is disengaged (i.e. pulled out to set the date or time), the distance moved by the same hands is even greater (the distance between four markers for the minute hand, and the distance between two markers for the second hand). 2. Hollow bracelet and case: Even though metallic, the bracelet feels and sounds hollow when you handle it, as does the case. 3. Finicky date-setting function: When the crown is pulled out to the first level, the date can be adjusted. But whether or not its gears engage and actually adjust the date is a gamble. The first time I set the date, it worked as it should; all other times, I had to push it back in then out, or out then in, and even tilting the crown while turning, to try and see whether it will work. All in all... I don't regret my purchase. It's a solid 4 out of 5 product. If the manufacturer could somehow improve quality assurance in their production lines, as well as work on making it feel less hollow overall, I would definitely buy it again. ...but only if it's at that same low price :-D
