I have mixed Feelings

I recently purchased the mouse pad and have mixed feelings about it. On the positive side, the size and design are exactly what I was looking for—it provides ample space for maneuvering my mouse, and the surface texture is smooth, which enhances my gaming/work experience. However, I was disappointed to discover a distinct, unwanted smell emanating from the mouse pad upon opening the package. Despite airing it out and using it for several days, the smell persists and can be quite noticeable, especially in a confined workspace. While I understand that new products can sometimes have an initial odor, the intensity and persistence of this smell are concerning. It detracts from an otherwise functional and aesthetically pleasing product. In terms of performance, the mouse pad functions perfectly—it provides precise tracking and doesn't slip on my desk surface. The stitching around the edges also seems durable and should prevent fraying over time. In conclusion, while the Mouse pad meets my functional needs, the strong odor is a significant drawback that affects the overall experience. I would recommend potential buyers to be aware of this issue and consider airing the product out thoroughly upon arrival.
