Wooden bamboo? I don't think so..
The finish is so bad you're likely to get a splinter from it's third use. It's that rough. I'd recommend to ONLY use this as a chopping board only if your doctor recommended little wood here and there in your diet. No quality, just poorly done wood.

I bought this for the size and for the fact that it is not made of plastic. It measures 38cm by 28 cm. The handle is super strong, but if you need to tighten it (for whatever reason) a regular screwdriver will make quick work of it. And for the record, I store it hanging full-time and so far the handle has not come loose at all. It's worth mentioning that this is prone to mold, so mind your storage. Or preferably wipe dry before storing.
