Defective Product + Terrible Customer Service

This mop was a complete disappointment. On first use, the sponge detached and the mop head toppled, making it impossible to clean. The squeezing mechanism shown in the product listing does not work at all. The product is poor quality and not fit for purpose. When I filed a return request (with video proof), Jumia rejected it, claiming it was “damaged during use.” They emailed me saying the broken product would be sent back to me — but it was never delivered. They also ignored my follow-up complaint and provided no refund, no store credit, and no product. I am left with absolutely nothing and wasted my money on this defective item. This feels like a scam, and I am extremely disappointed with both the product and Jumia’s service. Do not waste your money on this product. Jumia should stop selling such low-quality items and take accountability.
