a very good investment
If you're looking for a tool for your sister locs or microlocs, this is it. I can finally self retie. My microlocs are not that thin just about a quarter inch and the locs at the front are a bit thin but the tool works perfectly with them too.

...thicker, but not too thick dreadlocks. Definitely not for sister locks. Looks like it will last for a while and I'm happy that it's very smooth and does not catch unwanted hairs. I'd recommend to anyone with thin, (thin, thin, thin) dreadlocks, but not sister locks.
