This is so because the information on the platform did not match the product features. The laptop was supposed to have backlit keyboard as described, but the product recieved, had no such such feature

I received a laptop alright... BUT the serial number indicated on the package differed with that on the device. The keyboard was in Spanish and Windows was not activated- so was an extra cost to get a product key (none of this was indicated on the product details). Had asked a Jumia rep before purchase to request the merchant for the actual image of the laptop rather than the general internet image and was told I can initiate a return request if not happy with it. Well, I requested a return on Jumia but it was rejected. Seems their quality assurance team did not see any issue. I would have paid half the price for what I got. Disappointing.
