Product sold with manufacturing defects

The product on the outside looks fine. When I try to install Windows 10, no drive is showing where I can install it. This is abnormal. In my opinion, for online sales of Laptops, vendors should be forced to install directly the operating system so at least in case there is a manufacturing defect, the laptop does not get sent to customers where the customer has to go through a refund process.
