I don't like it

I bought this laptop for my little brother,akaenda nayo campus akijoin cos it was recommended..I wish I had checked everything on it before aende..cos right now lapi iko Tu kwa nyumba..it can't connect to internet..it can't accept any data...I just don't understand where the problem is....inafunguka but there is nothing you can do with it....please help..on how I should go about it...
