The mouse is actually an older different model with the older hp logo and is not exactly as seen in the pictures. Other than that, the cable length is fine by me and it is actually 800dpi specifically 770. Depending on what you want to use it for, 800dpi works good. I hope it will be durable and serve me for a while.
