The fixed state makes them very sturdy. The rubber makes the grip better and protects your tiles. I'm 6ft tall and weigh 83kgs and these weights are very ideal for me. They are not too heavy or too light. If you want to have a feel of their weight, one dumbbell weighs the same as a 10-litre water bottle. It's already 2 weeks and there are visible changes in my body. I'd highly recommend this product to anybody.
