Just like the ad claims. It saves time, gas and money. The flames are hotter than conventional meko. Cuts cooking time by upto 50%. The only downside is that the aluminium build is not rigid enough. It flexes a lot and makes a lot of noise during cooking especially when spinning ugali. You get used to it after a while. The circular pot holders also rotate during cooking and they end up scratching the aluminium. If you have the option get the one with the square pot holders.
