Not bad but not very good

It hangs when going back after opening some apps until you go back and start app again. Battery drains fast. I expected a new phone, the battery would last at least three days. This one is one and a half days, and not very actively engaged. Let me continue monitoring it ,it's barely two weeks old. Will it get better?
