Growing & Planting Tips

   Sowing: Seeds can be directly sown or started in trays. They typically germinate within 4–10 days.
   Spacing: Recommended spacing is approximately 30 x 10 cm.
   Care: Maintain consistent moisture; shallow roots mean the plant is sensitive to drying out, which can cause "bolting" (premature flowering).
   Soil: Prefers well-drained, nutrient-rich soil with a near-neutral pH (6.5 to 7.0). 

Culinary Uses

Spark Pak Choi is versatile in the kitchen due to its crisp stalks and tender leaves: 

• Stir-fry: Lightly sautéed with garlic, ginger, and soy sauce.
• Soups: Added at the last minute to ramen or miso soup to retain crunch.
