A “tester” version refers to a bottle meant for in-store display & sampling. The fragrance inside is (or should be) the same as a normal retail version of that specific concentration. The differences are mainly in packaging: simpler/white/plain box, often “Tester” printed, sometimes no cap, etc. Legit testers are common; however, fake “testers” or refills are also common so care is needed.
