Because whitening / brightening scrubs often combine quite active ingredients, there are some points to watch:
Irritation risk: strong acids, abrasives, or bleaching-agents may irritate especially on sensitive skin
Over-use: scrubs used too often -> barrier damage, dryness, peeling
Sun sensitivity: brightening agents + exfoliation increase UV sensitivity, so using sunscreen afterwards is important
Authenticity & safety: check for regulatory approvals, ingredient safety, avoid unknown/unstated strong bleach or steroid content
