6. Application Method

Surface Preparation:

Clean the surface thoroughly, removing any dust, dirt, grease, or old paint.

For best results, ensure the surface is slightly damp but not wet before applying Dr. Fixit Super Latex.

Mixing Instructions:

For Bonding & Waterproofing: Mix Dr. Fixit Super Latex with cement in a 1:2 ratio (1 part Super Latex to 2 parts cement) for optimum adhesion and waterproofing performance.

For Surface Repairs & Patching: Mix Dr. Fixit Super Latex with dry cement and sand to create a repair mortar with superior bonding and flexibility.

Application Process:

For Waterproofing: Apply the mixed product using a brush, roller, or trowel. Ensure an even application on the surface and allow sufficient curing time.

For Repairs: Apply the mixed mortar directly to the cracked or damaged areas and smooth it over with a trowel. Allow it to set and cure as per normal plastering or concreting guidelines.

Curing:

Allow the applied mixture to cure for at least 7 days, depending on the ambient temperature and humidity levels.
