Kojic Acid Powder
Kojic
acid is a natural skin lightener derived from malting rice that has
benefits for our skin. In fact, this is one of the most sought after
acids in beauty products. In addition to this, Kojic acid is believed to
be effective when it comes to solving various skin problems.
How
does Kojic acid work? To make it simple, Kojic acid is responsible for
stopping the production of Melanin which produces pigments to develop in
our skin. These pigments are responsible for having dark skin and spots
in our skin. In relation to this, Kojic acid helps in lightening our
skin especially for those who have uneven skin tone. Additionally, Kojic
acid works better on healthy skins. Below are some ways how Kojic acid
can lighten skin and other benefits of Kojic acid to our skin:
1.
Kojic acid is said to be effective more than any lightening products.
This is because Kojic acid is natural and healthier compared to other
skin care products.
2. Kojic acid works as a
stopper of Melanin. Without Kojic acid, Melanin is continuously produced
which causes our skin to darken.
3. Kojic
acid works better when the skin is healthy. This is because there will
be no obstacles for Kojic acid to perform its responsibilities well.
4.
Kojic acid lightens our skin by countering the functions of pigments.
In fact, Kojic acid is the best eliminator of pigments in our skin.
5. Kojic acid is also found in food. Foods that contain Kojic acid works as supplements that eliminate bad cells in our skin.
6. Kojic acid is better when purchased raw. This is because the natural chemicals are still there and fresh.
7. Kojic acid also works as a skin tone equalizer. When there are no pigments, our skin tone gets equalized.

the day and twice weekly body scrub for best results. Can also be added

KOJIC ACID SOAP
The kojic acid is
formed as a by-product in the making of Japanese rice wine. Kojic acid
is known for its skin lightening properties and offers a safer
alternative to chemical whiteners like hydroquinone. It is used to
lighten dark spots or patches caused by sun damage, acne scarring or
hyperpigmentation.
Use it on a regular basis
to lighten the overall complexion of the skin. Exfoliates and deeply
cleanses the skin, which help get rid of blackheads, whiteheads and it
also unclogs pores. Note that clogged pores can make your the appearance
of your pores enlarged.
You can add kojic acid powder to your, cream, lotion, liquid face and body wash along with glycolic acid for best results.
Best for darkened
parts of the skin especially in the underarms, buttocks, knees, elbows
and inner thigh area. The results overtime is comparable to getting a
regular chemical peel and microdermabrasion combined without the
downtime at a fraction of its cost.
Some people
report that their skin feels “tighter” or they may experience redness
or break outs after using kojic acid soap in the first week. Don’t worry
if this happens to you as the symptoms are usually temporary and will
eventually go away. If symptoms persist this product may not be right
for you.
You have to build up tolerance when
using kojic soaps especially when it comes to the face. You should only
leave it on the face for maybe 1 -2 mins tops and every other day until
your skin adjusts. The only thing I would suggest is to not use acids
when there is a reaction until your skin calms down and moisturize,
moisturize, moisturize!
Kojic acid soap can be
used every day to get the best results, however, once a day is enough
as too frequent usage may cause hypersensitivity of the skin. The
results will depend on your skin colour to begin with. People with
darker skin will have to be a little more patient as the results will
take longer.
