Inputs and Outputs:

The Scarlett 4i4 features four analog inputs: two XLR/1/4″ TRS combo inputs with Focusrite’s preamps, and two additional 1/4″ TRS line inputs.

There are four balanced 1/4″ TRS line outputs, as well as a headphone output with its own dedicated volume control.

Preamps:

The interface is equipped with two of Focusrite’s renowned Scarlett preamps. These preamps provide clean and transparent gain for microphones and instruments.

Sample Rates and Bit Depth:

It supports recording and playback at sample rates up to 192 kHz and a bit depth of up to 24 bits.

MIDI I/O:

The Scarlett 4i4 includes MIDI input and output ports, allowing you to connect MIDI controllers, synthesizers, and other MIDI devices.

USB Connectivity:

It connects to your computer via USB, making it compatible with both Mac and Windows systems. The USB connection also provides bus power, eliminating the need for an external power supply.

Direct Monitoring:

The interface features a direct monitoring option, allowing you to monitor your input signal with near-zero latency, bypassing the delay introduced by your computer’s processing.
