Installation Precautions: If the gap varies around the chamber wall, you MUST install the rubber to fit the spot where the gap is the smallest, otherwise, the rubber will fail, The rubber paddles mounted should be installed so they are barely touching. If you have a single-stage snow blower, or your gap is less than 1/4inch or greater than 5/8inch, you probably don't need or can't use this fix
