            How to Use With an Iron Box (Household Iron)

• Prepare the Garment
• Lay your shirt or fabric on a flat, hard, heat-resistant surface (not a soft ironing board).
• Pre-iron (without the transfer) to remove wrinkles and moisture. 
• Set Up the Iron
• Turn off the steam; you want dry heat only. I
• Set the iron to a high heat setting — typically the “Cotton” or “Linen” setting. 
• Wait for the iron to completely heat up (some sources recommend ~3–5 minutes).
• Position the Transfer
• Place the DTF transfer on the fabric, printed (ink) side down, so the clear carrier film is on top. 
• Make sure it’s well-aligned — you won’t want to move it once you start pressing.
• Protect & Press
• Cover the transfer with parchment paper or a Teflon sheet to protect it and the iron.
• Press the iron firmly and steadily on one section for 15-20 seconds, applying even pressure.
• For larger designs, press in overlapping sections to ensure full coverage.
• Peel when Hot
• Peel the film when hot. 
• Carefully peel the carrier film away. 
• If parts of the design didn’t stick, you can re-press those areas again with more pressure.
• Final Press (Optional but Recommended)
• After peeling, place parchment or Teflon sheet over the design again and press for 5–15 seconds more. This helps lock in the design, soften it, and improve durability.
• Care Instructions (After Transfer)
• Turn the garment inside out before washing.
• Wash in cold water without bleach.
• Tumble dry on low or, better yet, hang dry.
• Do not iron directly over the transferred area.

The transfer works best on cotton, cotton-blend, or polyester garments. It’s durable when applied correctly and can withstand gentle washing (inside-out recommended).
