Envelope Style Closure. While most pillow covers expose one end of the pillow, our pillowcases have an envelope style overlap at the opening that prevents the pillow from sticking out and protects it from dirt, dust and stains. Opening is at the end.

Almost No Shrinkage. Only very minimal shrinkage can be expected after washing these pillowcases.

Cotton Pillowcases vs. Polyester Pillowcases: Cotton is breathable, antistatic, not a lint or hair magnet. Nothing breathes better than natural fiber. Unlike cotton, polyester fabric tends to be hot, does not permeate air and can cause excessive sweating. Cotton fabric is also antistatic (has no electrical buildup and does not stick to the skin) while polyester shoots sparks and clings to the skin as well as to other bedding. Unlike cotton, polyester tends to collect lint and hair including pet hair that often remains even after laundering. More importantly, man-made fabrics like polyester (microfiber) can exacerbate skin sensitivity issues and cause allergic reaction because of the chemicals used to make synthetic fiber.

Care: Machine wash in cold or lukewarm water with like colors. Tumble dry low. Remove immediately after drying to avoid wrinkling.

Do not get fooled by other sellers’ claims of “high count Egyptian quality”/”Egyptian comfort” pillowcases or microfiber pillowcases. These type of claims have nothing to do with the Egyptian or any other cotton. You will be getting cheap 100% polyester.
