How It Works (Basic Instructions)

Connect the red (positive) clamp to the positive post of the dead battery.

Attach the other red clamp to the positive post of the donor battery.

Attach the black (negative) clamp to the negative post of the donor battery.

Attach the other black clamp to an engine block or grounded metal surface on the stalled vehicle (not on the battery).
