A3 Water Colour Sketch Pad - Paper 18Gsm 24 Sheets( Heavyweight pressed water Colour paper)

This is a 9"x12" sized watercolour paper pad with 24 sheets of paper. The paper is 180 Gsm. cold press paper that is supposed to be 100% cotton. It performs and feels like a student/ mid grade 100% cotton watercolor paper. The paper is slightly thicker than other cotton watercolor paper brands, and it has a good amount of texture on the front and it is slightly smoother on the back side. The paper is very thirsty like typical cotton watercolor paper-it is very absorbent and holds paint very well. If you don't tape the paper down, it warps slightly when wet but it almost completely straightens back out when dry. Masking fluid and masking/painters tape is very easy to remove from this paper and does not cause it to tear. I was able to easily use many different water color painting techniques on this paper. It is fairly easy to lift paint from this paper, but not so easy that layers smear and smudge when glazing. I was also able to scrub the paper either my brush and it did not pill.
