Description:
This product is a current regulating integrated circuit with an input voltage of 2.9V to 6.1V, and a constant output current of 1.5A can be set using an external resistor. The product consists of high-precision reference voltage, amplifier, current mirror, etc. The on-chip power transistor and the electric influenza response block greatly reduce the number of external components, making this product an ideal choice for LED drivers.
When the EN pin is at high voltage, the input voltage is greater than 2.9V and is greater than the LED forward voltage plus the required voltage drop, the product operates normally and provides a constant current from the LED pin.
This product adopts temperature regulation instead of temperature protection function, which can continuously light up the LED when the ambient temperature is high or the voltage drops. When the junction temperature of the product reaches about 135 ° C, the internal temperature regulating block will reduce the LED current, making the junction temperature no longer rise. This feature allows users to maximize the power processing capability of the chip without worrying about overheating and damage to the chip or external components.
This product also has chip enable function, which can turn off the entire chip and limit current consumption to within 1uA.
This product also uses overcurrent protection blocks. When the LED current approaches 0.9A (typical), the overcurrent protection block begins to function to prevent further increase in LED current.
