Car Headlight Restoration Kit StepsHOW TO USE1. Wash the headlights with soapy water to clear all dirt.2. Seal the edges of the headlights with the Masking tape or Gazette to prevent scratching the car body paint3. Survey the extent of the headlights damage to determine which sand paper to start scrubbing with.- (For scratched headlights, use a rougher sandpaper to remove the scratches. Use a smoother sandpaper to ensure the headlights are smooth again. Finish with 1000 smooth sand paper for a very smooth/fine finish.)- For deeper scratches or cracks could use P240/360/400 to polish 4. Use water and sand paper to polish the lenses one by one, P360→P600→P800→P1000. (Polish 1-2 mins. Polishing time can be slightly longer depending with the headlight scratches).- Ensure the headlight is always wet when sanding. You can dip the sandpaper in water and scrub or scrub as you spray the headlight with water. This is to reduce frictional heat that could damage the lamps 5. Manual operation of a variety of sandpaper grinding time of about 2-3min (try to control this time, if the time is too short grinding is not complete, if too long you can damage to the lamp)6. Once you have achieved a very smooth finish, wipe the headlights dry. Use old newspapers to get a complete dry surface. (Do nottry to steam while the headlights are not completely dry, any moisture will distort the headlights)7. Pour 80-100ml liquid into the cup, heat for about 2-3 minutes, when steam starts coming out, then approach the cup to the headlights, the steam will make the Headlights shining again (keep 1cm away from the headlight).8. After finishing, let the remaining liquid cool down and recycle the liquid back in the bottle.- If the headlights did not get shinny as new, then you did not scrub well with the sandpapers, scrub again with a rougher sand paper and finish with the finest.- If you did not dry the headlights completely before steaming, the outcome will have patches and will not be shinny, you have to repeat scrubbing with the fine sandpaper. This product has no ratings yet.
