- From the Manufacturer: <p>For optimal use, trim the wick to 1/4 inch before each lighting. Burn for a minimum of 1 hour and a maximum of 4 hours at a time. Allow the wax to melt to the edges of the jar to prevent tunneling. Never leave a burning candle unattended.</p><ul><li>Do not burn the candle for more than 4 hours at a time.
