The alarm padlock is a versatile security device suitable for securing a wide range of items, including motorcycles, bicycles, gates, sheds, garages, and toolboxes. The dual-mode functionality allows the user to choose whether to activate the alarm function. To arm the alarm, the user simply removes the shackle, rotates it 180 degrees, and reinserts the longer, non-shaved leg into the lock body until a "di" or a series of beeps confirms it is set. In this mode, any vibration or shock will first trigger warning beeps, followed by a full 10-12 second alarm if the tampering continues. To use it as a normal, non-alarming padlock, the user inserts the shackle the opposite way, ensuring no confirmation beep is heard.

This heavy-duty alarm padlock is designed for comprehensive anti-theft security. The body is constructed from a hardened zinc or aluminum alloy that is corrosion-resistant and weatherproof. The shackle is made of hot-processed, hardened steel with a 10mm diameter, making it resistant to cutting and physical abuse. The lock features a dual shock and motion sensor that, when armed, emits a loud siren (typically 110dB to 120dB) if it is hit or shaken. It can be set to two states: a mechanical lock only, or a fully armed alarm lock. It is powered by several internal button batteries (LR44 style) which are tamper-proof and generally last for several months under normal use.
