The Eames Plastic Side Chair DSW Golden Maple was designed by Charles and Ray Eames for the brand Vitra.

Vitra is a Swiss furniture manufacturing company focused on turning the designs of the world's greatest furniture minds into essential aspects of quality living, office and outdoor spaces. Ray and Charles Eames were a married couple, both industrial designers, who used primarily moulded plywood to shape their furniture designs. Their work has been continued through their company The Eames Office.

The seat of the Eames Plastic Side Chair DSW Golden Maple is moulded from polypropylene. The sophisticated shell is available in numerous colours, making it an elegant fit for almost any living or office space. The legs of the chair are made of maple, held together with black-coated steel, in the shape of the Eiffel Tower. The chair is also suitable for outdoor use, but has felt gliders to protect hard floors. It can be purchased with an optional seat mat or cushion, all available in the same colour as the seats themselves. The cushions are round, and are two-coloured and reversible. The chair seat is 43cm high, and the entire chair stands 83cm high. It is 55cm deep and 46.5cm wide.
