-The natured color of EL (electro-luminescent ) is between blue and green, we design the with high and low frequencies, the high frequency will emit the EL to glow blue color, and the low frequency will emit EL to glow green color. A switch on the er allows you to change frequency /color. However a disadvantage of the design for blue glowing will cause high frequency noise. There is no solution to remove the noise but can minimize the noise by decreasing the brightne or switching to green light section. If the glow is light, the high frequency will emit cold , and low frequency emits warmer light. Before purchasing this item, please consider this fact.

4. Installation Ability

There is a risk of damage to the meter while installing the product, we highly recommend the installation to be done by experienced technician.  Operate carefully to the cls and pointers expecially on an old car since they are very easy to be broken. Installation may need or not to remove the pointers, please judge by the size of pointer hub and hole of the faceplate.

Please mark the hole locations and punch holes from the baof the panel. You can apply a thin double-sided adhesive tape to the areas where you want to punch holes to prevent the punching tool from slping.

TEST before installation:

Connect each piece of to adaptor that comes with the kit, then test the kit by connecting to 12VDC battery or power supplier.

The adapter offers 4 plugs, If the kit needs le than 4 plugs, you can cover the unused plug with electric tape.

Do not connect the panel to 12 VDC power without the /adapter.

The Elow is emitted by AC voltage, the adapter() will nsform the 12VDC to 50~75 VAC. Ar connecting to power, don't touch bare terminals or solder points over the output side, will cause uncomfortable .

Installation steps:

Turn off the car.

Remove screws that hold the bezel and cluster.

Disconnect the wire plugs to the cluster.

Remove the clear cover that protects the s and the blahousing around the .

If there are screws that hold the faceplate remove them.

Gently slide the face over the .

Locate a spot to run wire in the cluster.

Screw in the screws to the faceplate, if removed.

Install back the clear protection cover.

Plug the connectors of faceplates to .

Locate the adapter and er controller to desired p.

Wiring BLAwire to ground(-, negative), and parallel connect RED wire(+, positive) to parking light / headlight / arette / light er switch which supplies 12 VDC power. If you don't know how to figure out the wires, please let the profeionalism to help you.

Turn on the car and cheif the glow works normally.
