This displayport repeater requires external power to work. Connect the included USB-Ccable to the charger/USBC port on the computer can provide power.
The repeater is unidirectional. Please note the direction of the signal.Plug the input connector into signal source(computer/gaming device),the output connector into your monitor/display .
The VR headset requires DisplayPort 1.4 support. Make sure to use a DisplayPort 1.4 cable for VR applications.
If USBC port/ cable does not work, the Oculus Rift S will not activate the DisplayPort connection. Make sure the USB C port/cable is working before adding this repeater to the DisplayPort cable.
