Setup: Shuffle the dominoes face down on the table. Each player draws a certain number of tiles (usually 7 for a 2-player game, 5-6 for 3-4 players). The remaining tiles form the "boneyard."

Starting Play: The player with the highest double (tile with the same number on both ends) goes first. If no doubles are drawn, the player with the highest-value tile starts.

Gameplay: Players take turns adding a tile to the open ends of the domino layout, matching the number on one end of their tile to the number on an open end of the layout.

Drawing Tiles: If a player cannot make a move, they must draw a tile from the boneyard until they can play or the boneyard is empty. If the boneyard is empty and they still can't play, they pass their turn.

Winning: The game continues until one player plays all their tiles, or no more plays can be made. The player with no tiles left or the lowest total value of remaining tiles wins the round. Scoring can vary, but often the winner scores points equal to the total value of the opponent's remaining tiles. The game can be played to a certain point threshold.
