This is a fishing float rig accessory kit.
It’s used to set up fishing lines with:
Floats (to detect bites),
Stoppers (to control float depth),
Weights (to balance the float),
Swivels/eyelets (to prevent twisting and connect terminal tackle),
Line threading tools (for easy assembly).
Such kits are popular for float fishing (commonly for freshwater species like tilapia, carp, catfish, etc.), where precise control of bait depth is crucial.
Take your main fishing line (nylon/monofilament is common).
Pull out enough length for the float setup (1–2 meters, depending on fishing depth).
Slide one green rubber tube (float stopper) onto the line.
This stopper will control the depth of your bait by deciding how far the float can slide.
???? Tip: If you’re fishing in shallow water, set the stopper close to your hook. For deeper water, slide it further up.
Add a small round bead after the stopper.
The bead protects the stopper and prevents the float from damaging it.
Use the green plastic float connectors (the ones shaped like capsules with wires).
Slide your line through the connector so that the float sits snugly on the line.
This keeps the float fixed but adjustable.
Place one or more of the black cylindrical weights below the float.
These balance the float in the water so it stands upright but remains sensitive to fish bites.
???? Rule of thumb: Add enough weight so only the tip of the float is visible above the water.
Tie the line to a swivel connector (small gold eyelet).
This prevents line twist and gives you a place to attach your hook line (leader).
On a shorter piece of line (leader), tie your fishing hook.
Then connect the leader to the swivel.
The hook length is usually 15–30 cm below the float depending on fish species and feeding habits.
Slide the float stopper up or down the line to set the fishing depth.
Drop the rig in water to check:
The float should stand upright.
Only the colored tip should be visible.
If it sinks → too much weight.
If it lies flat → not enough weight.
