Flower DS 4% should be used in all ‘sensitive areas’ as shown above, as an alternative to chemical insecticides. Its active ingredient is pyrethrum which has very low mammalian toxicity. It is a very broad-spectrum insecticide, meaning that it kills most insects.

Flower DS 4% is an Emulsifiable Concentrate. A natural pyrethrum-based insecticide for the control of aphids, whiteflies, and other insects in vegetables.

Flower DS 4% Spectrum of Activity

FLOWER DS 4%, when well-timed and with repeated application, gives control of a wide range of insects in brassicas and legumes. For the best results, spray in the early morning or late afternoon when leaves are turgid. Sunlight breaks down pyrethrins

Natural pyrethrins are non-persistent, so spray on insect infestations. FLOWER DS 4% can be used in integrated pest management. FLOWER DS 4% is used to control Aphids in crops
Crop tolerance: At low insecticide concentration, FLOWER DS 4% can be applied without risk of phytotoxicity. Care should be taken with higher rates. Use sufficient water to obtain thorough coverage of the foliage.
